Wild Olive Guest Farm is situated in the peaceful Goukou River Valley, approximately 11 km from Stilbaai in the Western Cape. The farm enjoys a beautiful riverside setting surrounded by olive trees, milkwoods and natural fynbos.

Guests can choose between the historic Apple Tree Cottage and the cosy Sunbird and Hoopoe wooden chalets. Each unit offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a peaceful farm environment.

Yes. The cottage and chalets are equipped for self-catering and include kitchen facilities, an indoor fireplace and a private outdoor braai area.

Guests can relax beside the river, swim, fish, paddle a canoe or kayak, enjoy scenic walks and explore the surrounding natural landscape. The farm is also an excellent destination for birdwatching and quiet weekends away.

Yes. Canoes and kayaks are available for guests who would like to explore and enjoy the Goukou River. Availability and river conditions can be confirmed when booking.

Absolutely. The Goukou River Valley is home to abundant birdlife, with more than 250 bird species recorded in the area. Guests can enjoy birdwatching from their accommodation, beside the river or while exploring the farm.

Yes. The farm shop stocks a selection of fresh, seasonal organic produce grown on the farm. Depending on availability, visitors may also find homemade preserves, jams, relishes, rusks, granola, free-range eggs and other locally produced goods.

Yes. Wild Olive is home to a variety of friendly farm animals, including chickens, ducks and other resident animals that add to the authentic farm experience.

Yes. Every accommodation unit has its own outdoor braai area. Fireplaces are also available inside the units, making the farm comfortable during the cooler winter months.
